"Max and Ricky are the best. I tried to re key a lock and got it stuck. Took it in to get reset. They quoted me a price for what was supposed to be 10 min of work. It ended up being more complicated, but they stuck to their original price, which I greatly appreciated. They even stuck around after hours so that I could come pick up the lock. Awesome guys. "I took in a vintage gum ball machine that did not have a key to it. I did not want to drill out the lock, I wanted to keep everything as original as possible. Artie's was able to get into the machine and make two keys for me without damaging the original front. Each time I had contact with the staff, they were very helpful and courteous. And in picking up the machine, they went above and beyond, coming out and demonstrating how the machine worked and walking me through the process. Overall, the price was good, but the service was exceptional. I would highly recommend to anyone else."
"I actually came upon Artie’s Lock and Key by accident. I was looking for a locksmith I had used previously and mistook Artie’s for that location. However, I am glad for the mistake. I was looking to get 2 new fobs and 2 keys for a car I recently purchased. I called the business first to do some research on available services and cost. I spoke with Rick, who ended up also doing the services for me. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. I was unaware of the different kinds of keys manufactured now, and he explained it to me. He told me everything I needed to know, and I was able to walk in the next day - without an appointment - knowing what to expect.
Upon arrival, Rick completed the programming and transponder key production, and had me on my way in about 20 minutes. He updated me along the way as things were completed, or if he had a complication, and he was able to do everything as planned for the price quoted. I would definitely use Artie’s again and recommend them."
