"I was given an old autograph book that belonged to my grandfather. It was over 120 years old. To get into it you had to unlock a large lock on the side. After so long a time, the original key was no where to be found. Luckily the main pages had all been removed. I took the binder to Arties and Ricky was able to not only make a key but also get the binder open. He took such great care of the book which I treasured as if it were his own. I have to say I have used Arties before and actually did not know they not only do all kinds of keys but also deal in keys needed for antiques. "I bought an antique rosewood dresser, roughly 120 years old. Stunning! But it had old fashioned locks on the drawers and it came with no key. The good news was the drawers were not locked, so I took one of the locks out, and took it to Artie's. I'd used Artie's before for routine stuff like key duplication or re-keying deadbolts, but it had been many years. The folks at Arties had a brand new skeleton key made for me the next day, for a VERY reasonable price. Works all three drawer locks like they are brand new. If you need antique locks fixed, this is the place you are looking for!"
